Liam has been interested in birds since he was just three or four years old. He became especially fascinated by migration over the course of countless childhood trips to Hawk Mountain and Cape May, and observing visible migration remains a favorite pastime to this day. Liam has led educational hikes for all ages at Massachusetts Audubon and served as a professional hawk counter for New Jersey Audubon’s Montclair Hawk Watch. In addition to his work with Hillstar, Liam is pursuing a Master of Environmental Studies degree at the University of Pennsylvania where he is completing a capstone project focused on the trials and tribulations of grassland birds that attempt to nest on the farm fields of Pennsylvania. Liam also serves as an eBird reviewer for Philadelphia County.
