Hillstar Nature offers authentic wildlife experiences, from half-day trips to week+ tours to Earth’s most spectacular wildlife destinations.

Arranging custom/private trips and offering scheduled departures, Hillstar Nature specializes in creating and conducting experiences where a pursuit of birds and wildlife offer a framework through which we try to infuse and overlay a region’s culture. Having a wider context for one's nature experience, we believe, increases appreciation and understanding. We hope to celebrate biogeography, especially where it overlaps with community. And a major goal is to support communities through sustainable eco-tourism in ways beneficial to both local residents and wildlife alike. Biodiversity is what draws us, but often it is our experiences with the people and their home areas that accent a trip and make it memorable.

Each trip varies somewhat in focus, but we strive to enjoy as much of the area’s special and endemic wildlife while coming to know it.  This is true of our local trips near our home in Philadelphia (the Delaware Valley & the Delmarva Peninsula), on out to the far-flung corners of Earth.
