Adam Walleyn
Guide
Adam Walleyn was born and raised in the Manitoba prairies and now lives in San Diego with his wife Meghan and daughter Isla. A lifelong birder and naturalist, Adam has been leading bird and wildlife tours for more than two decades. With a couple hundred tours under his belt and specializing in some of the most logistically challenging and biologically little known corners of the world he has a wealth of worldwide guiding and natural history experiences to draw upon while on tour. He also works as a biologist and has been really fortunate to work with several of the world’s most critically endangered species such as Kakapo, Black Robin and Spoon-billed Sandpiper. He is just as interested in the mammals and herps as the birds and other hobbies include scuba diving, backcountry hiking, along with yoga, gardening and raising chickens!
